Privacy Policy

Wishmoji is run by Wishmoji, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. It is written with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind.

What we collect

• What you put in your film: names, nickname, dates, your letter, reasons, captions, photos and an optional voice note.
• Your mobile number (to sign in) and, if you give it, your email for receipts and notifications.
• Payment status from Razorpay. We never see or store your card or UPI details.
• Basic events such as “opened” or “watched to the end”, without names or contact details.
• Replies and answers the recipient sends back to you, and anything you send through the contact form.

Why

Only to make, show and deliver your film or song, take payment, tell you when it's opened, prevent abuse, and keep accounts, and, only if you allow it, to measure our ads (below). We don't sell your data or use your photos or film content for advertising.

Ads measurement (Meta)

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. If you tap “Allow” on our cookie notice, we use the Meta Pixel in your browser and Meta's Conversions API from our server to learn which ads bring people to Wishmoji: pages you view, starting a film, checkout, sign-up, the contact form, and purchases with their amount. To match these to Meta accounts we send your phone number and email only as one-way hashes (never in plain text), with your browser's details and Meta's own cookie ids. We never send film content, names, photos, letters or anything from gift links, and gift links and the recipient's visit are never tracked. If you tap “No thanks”, or never choose, none of this happens. To change your choice, clear this site's cookies; the notice will ask again.

• Hostinger (website hosting)
• Supabase (database and private photo storage)
• Google Firebase (mobile number sign-in)
• Razorpay (payments)
• Resend (emails, if you give your email)
• OpenRouter and the AI model providers it routes to (only for “Write it for me” and custom songs: the details you type are sent to write the draft)
• Meta Platforms (ads measurement, only if you allow it: see above)

Who can see your film

Only people with the link. Gift pages are hidden from search engines, link previews never show your photos, and photos are stored privately and served through links that expire within a few hours.

How long we keep it

• Unpaid drafts: deleted after 30 days without changes.
• Paid films: until the link ends (6 months, plus any extension), then photos, voice notes and letters are deleted within 30 days.
• Deleted links: content removed within 24 hours.
• Phone number and email copied onto an order: cleared 1 year after payment. Your account's phone number is kept while you have an account.
• Payment records: kept as accounting and tax law requires, without your film's content.
• Backups may hold deleted data for up to 30 more days until they rotate out.

Your choices

You can hide or delete a link, and ask us to delete your account and data. To see what we hold about you or to correct it, write to support@wishmoji.com.
